Stop the Middle East Violins

What is all this about Violins in the Middle East? Why are people so keen to stop the violins? Music is a good thing and there really should be more music in the world. Violins are not the answer, not by themselves; you need flutes and drums, clarinets, pianos, French horns, trumpets and other instruments in order to have a good music program.

I hear some people stating that violins are senseless. I do not agree. Maybe violins are not the best instrument, but they are a necessary one. We could not have such great songs as “Devil Went Dow to Georgia”, and “If Your Going to Play in Texas” if it were not for violins.

We should not stop the violins, it is just a silly position.
