“Hamas deserves to be recognized by the international community, and despite the group's militant history, there is a chance the soon-to-be Palestinian leaders could turn away from violence” Former President (Current National Embarrassment) Jimmy Carter said on (CNN) Wednesday.

Militant history, Mr. Carter?  No.  It is not a militant history it is a Terrorist History.  The group has stated they will not recognize any Jewish state, in fact they have published that their stated goal is the complete and final destruction of the state of Israel.  They have shouted from the roof tops that they will not rest until every Jew in the Middle East is dead.  Not just gone but dead.  

Are you so worried, Mr. Carter, that you have no legacy as a president that you have to try and make murderers and terrorists seem like peach envoys?    

You got your Nobel Prize, now go away.  You will go down in history for that, even though the only reason you got it was to snub someone else.  

Your “Peace Deals” suck.  
Middle East – yeah, that is going so well
North Korea – Give them oil and tons of cash and they give up nuclear research.  This is working out so well.  Never mind that they started working on nuclear weapons the moment you got back in the plane and now have an estimated seven warheads.  You kept the “peace”.

So Hamas won an election and that means “there is a chance the soon-to-be Palestinian leaders could turn away from violence”, Mr. Carter?
