Obligatory Blog Update Post

We were told that when a blog is updated, the proprietor must publish a post informing the readers that the site was indeed upgraded.  We assume this is to let them know that their computers are not playing an early April fool’s joke on them and that the changes were intended.  We also assume it is to allow comments on the upgrade.
