The story starts with the title Bill Moyers Retiring from TV Journalism. Ok, I bit, I decided to read. Mr. Moyers is going to sign of from PBS with a story he is proud of

"I'm going out telling the story that I think is the biggest story of our time: how the right-wing media has become a partisan propaganda arm of the Republican National Committee," says Moyers. "We have an ideological press that's interested in the election of Republicans, and a mainstream press that's interested in the bottom line. Therefore, we don't have a vigilant, independent press whose interest is the American people."

Is he so out of it her thinks the media is in the RNC camp? With Rather and his documents to the reporter planting questions in a Q&A session to CNN refusing to call an election even after it’s forgone conclusion he still thinks that the main stream media is conservative? This is just one more indication that the elite do not understand those of us that live in fly-over country. I guess we are lucky to have people like Mr. Moyers in positions of power to tell us that our common sense is wrong and that the media attacking Bush and the rest of the republican party is just a misguided perception we have because, after all the media LOVES bush and is working for him…
