Will ABC Cover the New Terror Tape

I touched on this yesterday when Matt Drudge ran it. But I think it bears further inspection. ABC has a tape that is from a source in Pakistan. ABC held off on running the tape, I was a little angered at that, but the reason the held off was that they turned a copy over to the FBI and CIA for verification. The tape was analyzed and it has been deemed authentic. I will be curious as to how fast and to what extent that it will be reported on. I copy this expert from Drudge:

“The terrorist claims on tape the next attack will dwarf 9/11."The streets will run with blood," and "America will mourn in silence" because they will be unable to count the number of the dead. Further claims: America has brought this on itself for electing George Bush who has made war on Islam by destroying the Taliban and making war on Al Qaeda.”

Is this the kind of threat that we are going to let the man of nuance, turn over to the FBI? No offence to the FBI, I think it’s the best law enforcement agency in the world and I support them whole heartedly but it took them 7 years to find Eric Rudolph in our own country. It is a real and serious threat that the public has a right to know and the Media industry has an obligation to report.

This story is a very important one, Al Qaeda is threatening to make our streets run with blood and that we will mourn in silence because we will be unable to count the dead. Sure, I understand that this is most likely rhetoric, but can we take the chance it is not?
This story need to be read and heard by the public so we can understand how much they hate us. Holding this story back for any reason, now that it has been verified, would be negligent.
