Vultures Row: ABC is surprised by Own Poll

ABC is surprised by Own Poll

ABC was given a lesson in optimism, hope and freedom.   It seems the people of Iraq are feeling good about the way things are going and have high hopes for their future.

In the article ABC keeps saying they are surprised by the Hope that freedom has brought.
They do state that “It’s the Economy, Stupid”

Average household incomes have soared by 60 percent in the last 20 months (to $263 a month), 70 percent of Iraqis rate their own economic situation positively, and consumer goods are sweeping the country. In early 2004, 6 percent of Iraqi households had cell phones; now it's 62 percent. Ownership of satellite dishes has nearly tripled, and many more families now own air conditioners (58 percent, up from 44 percent), cars, washing machines and kitchen appliances.

But don’t fret, ABC could not report on the positive happenings in Iraq, they also point out every problem that they could think of to try to paint a doom and gloom picture.

What was ABC thinking letting ANY good news be reported?
